Colleen McInnis is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BFA in Photography. They are currently a Graduate Student at The City College of New York focusing on Art History and Museum Studies.

Their work has been exhibited at Mississippi State University, and surrounding areas in Mississippi including the Cotton District Arts Festival Juried Exhibition, and Mississippi Collegiate Arts Competition.

They are the recipient of the Mississippi State University Department of Art Purchase Award for "Real Aladdin" Studio Lighting Piece, the recipient of the Anderson Ranch Workshop Award in 2018, and many exhibition recognition awards.
